Bills Test
This is a test blah blah
The report of a scientific conference held last year has just been published that warns that the risks of climate change are more serious than previously thought. This includes rising temperatures and increasing water scarcity, including for the people of the Middle East. The scientists concluded that “by the 2050s, between 1.1 and 2.8 billion water-stressed people could see a reduction in water availability due to climate change …These impacted populations are largely in the Middle East and central Asia, Europe, southern Africa and parts of central, north and south America”.[i] Then last week new research was published by Britain’s Environment Agency. It is another alarm bell we should all be worried about. The research, the first of its kind to examine the impact of climate change beyond the end of this century, concluded that over the next millennium temperatures could increase by up to 15°C with seas rising by up to 11.4 metres. This would mean that vast areas of low-lying regions would be under water, including countries such as Bangladesh.
